Information for New Visitors
At St Alban’s we aim to make all new visitors as welcome as possible.
The purpose of this page is to provide you with the information you need to make your first visit with us as easy and rewarding as possible.
We are a small but committed congregation and have one service on a Sunday morning at 10.00am. This is a sung communion service.
Children are always welcome. They can sit in the children’s area with their parents or anywhere you would like in the church.
Music is important in our worship. We have a lovely organ with an excellent organist. We also have a talented musician who plays a guitar for us on many Sundays. There is a small choir who help lead the music. We can use a CD player – if required.
We know that stepping into a new church can be scary, even if you are a regular worshipper elsewhere. All who come are given an Order of Service with which you will be able to easily follow what is happening and join in as appropriate.
There is no formal dress code, so wear what you feel comfortable in, be it casual or “Sunday Best”. You will see a mix of it all here.
There is always coffee after the Sunday morning service where it is possible to meet others. Please introduce yourself.
We hope to see you soon
